Who We Are 

At Madison Birthday Boost, we're on a mission to bring smiles and joy to the neediest children in our community. We collaborate with dedicated social workers from organizations like The Road Home, YWCA, Reach Dane, Salvation Army, and MMSD to identify children with upcoming birthdays and supply their caregivers with everything to throw an unforgettable birthday party! Every week, our volunteers shop, bake, and craft themed birthday boxes, and the demand keeps growing. That's why we need you to keep the party rolling!

What's in a Box? 

Each Birthday Boost box is packed with all the ingredients for a fantastic birthday party, including:

• Themed Tableware (plates, cups, napkins, tablecloth for 8)

• Cupcakes and Candles (12)

• Decorations (streamers, balloons, ribbon, tape)

• Party Game

• Custom Banner

• Party Favors (6)

• Gift (includes wrapping or gift bag/tissue)

• Decorated Box

How It Works 

Here's the fun part: you'll pick up your Birthday Boost  kit(s) before your event at one of our two convenient Madison locations. Each kit is your ticket to an incredible volunteering experience, complete with:

• Box Decorating

• Custom Banner Crafting

• Party Favor Assembling

• Card Decorating

• Party Game Making

After the event, return the completed kits to one of our locations!

Suggested Event Agenda

1. Welcome and Introductions

2. Get to Know Madison Birthday Boost (Watch our Video)

3. Assign Volunteers to Boxes (4-6 volunteers per box recommended)

4. Group Presentations (Show Off Your Box!)

5. Pack and Return Boxes to Madison Birthday Boost

6. Email us pictures from your event (completely optional)

7. Follow our Facebook Page to see your completed box and pictures from your event if you sent any (we’ll also tag your organization)

Cost and Impact 

A $250 donation is required for each Birthday Boost  kit, which covers all of the birthday box contents and funds future supplies. On average, a kit takes 4-6 adults 60-120 minutes to complete. Your sponsorship goes a long way in creating lasting memories and spreading happiness.
